Torrey Pines North Course, schedule for renovation in 2005, is one of the most scenic golf courses on the California coastline. Booking a tee time through the 7-day Lottery System is temporarily unavailable for non-residents.
However, Showtime Golf now has the ability to book you onto the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Course, host of the 2008 U.S. Open, a full 90-days in advance (if availability warrants)!
Torrey Pines is the only course that we charge a deposit/reservation fee. Our service is complimentary at all the other fine courses in San Diego and most have quite a bit of availability throughout the week. It is best to have a second option in case Torrey Pines doesn't work out. In fact, if we aren't able to book you at Torrey Pines we'll take $10 off per person at any other golf course we offer in town. Mention Promo Code TP10 for this offer. (866) 661-2334 Ext. 17Group RequestThe minimum to book at Torrey Pines is now 20 players and they only charge in increments of 4.The Ladies Club plays on every Tuesday and the Men's Club plays on every Thursday and the second to last weekend. The course now allows groups to book the opposite course of these Clubs. To book a shotgun, the course requires a minimum of 144 and the start time is at 7:00am or 12:30pm (only if there is a morning shotgun). If you are looking for a shotgun on Tuesday or Thursday afternoon, the course will make the Clubs shotgun so groups can go behind them. The course does not allow shotguns between the months of November-February. Once availability is given by the city of San Diego, we create a letter of request on the group's behalf. The letter will be kept on file until a contract is generated. $25 of the above pricing is a non-refundable deposit due 10 days after the signing of the contract. The contracts are created based upon the city of San Diego's schedule. Sometimes they are sent right away, sometimes a few months prior to your golf date, and other times only one month prior. The golf cars will be staged with the golfers' name and everyone will have complimentary range balls. The course will also provide table and chairs, scorecards, contest signs i.e. closest to the pin and longest drive. The South Course has tee-times every 10 min. and the North Course has tee-times every 7 min. beginning at the :07 of every hour. The South plays about 5 hours, the North plays 4.5-5 hours. Only one golf course may be used for a private tournament at a time. One course will be kept available for public play. September and October tournaments are advised that both courses begin annual renovation which includes aerification and overseeding. Please check with the course before booking as there are no discounts offered. We must be certain that you want the day and time requested. Once we submit the request, we'll find out in about 1-2 weeks if the course has availability on the day of your potential group. Once the contract is written, a $25 per person deposit must be sent in. Should your player count go down from the agreed upon contracted number, your deposit will be lost for the original amount of players ($25 per person) and your balance based upon your new player count will be due. Final payment is due ten days prior to the tournament and final player numbers due no later than 14 days prior to tournament. The pairings and all information pertaining to the format of the group is due 2 days in advance. The deposit is non-refundable and applied only to the final number of players in the event.
